    Description

Offered here is a wonderful antique 5 piece solid Sterling Silver Coffee and Tea set dating to the late 1890s. This set was produced by Philadelphia silversmiths Mathew Hamilton and Herman Diesinger, active from 1895-1900. All of the pieces are in very good well cared for condition. They all have a simple yet elegant fine beaded pattern on the top rims, collars and around the base. They all have a faint initial monogram on one side. The insides are all very clean and hinges are good. The only thing I noticed is a small ding on one side of the teapot and normal age related marks.
All pieces are marked for Hamilton Diesinger, Sterling with the makers trademark.
    This set consist of:
Coffee Pot with hinged lid; 9" H and spanning 9" handle to spout weighing 521 grams
Tea Pot with hinged lid; 7" in height and spanning 9.75" handle to spout weighing 435 grams
