Handblown glass Tear Catcher Bottle with gold gilt design. Can be used for perfumes or oils. Lachrymatories were vessels that women stored their tears in that they cried when their lovers were gone off to war. It stored proof of their devotion.
Deep purple banding with gold highlights on clear glass. Genie bottle shape with glass stopper. Approximately 6" high, holds about 2 ounces.
