Telecaster Body - Surf Green - Solid Alder - XGP (Guitarfetish.com)

Description

This is a XGP (Guitarfetish), solid alder, Telecaster body in surf green and is in like-new condition. It’s been stored in its shipping box inside a smoke free house since I received it for Father’s Day. I decided to go with a different color body for my tele build, that’s the only reason I’m selling it. These bodies go for just over 0.00 and they have said prices are going to going up when the restock next month.
According to their website these bodies matched the shape and specs from a 1961 Telecaster: 1 3/4” thick, 2 3/16” neck pocket, vintage string spacing, and period correct pickup/control routing.
These are not “plug and play” bodies and it’s assumed a little work will need to get it ready for playing. String-through and ferrule holes and the standard Fender 4-hole pattern have been drilled already, but it will be up to you to drill holes for the pickguard, control plate, bridge mounting screws, jack plate/cup and the strap buttons.
That said, I have used two XGP bodies (one for myself and one for a coworker) and have been very impressed with the fit and quality, ESPECIALLY for the price. Both have needed a little paint scraped from the neck pocket but that’s it. With careful measuring and drilling everything has worked just fine. I put a genuine Fender Vintera 50’s Modified neck in the pocket to make sure it lined up correctly (see picture-neck NOT included), but nothing has been screwed down or mounted on this guitar. Included will be the single-ply, white pickguard seen in the pictures.
