    Description

    Chrysanthemum sterling silver hot milk pot. Made by Tiffany & Co. in New York. Round shaped body and ovoid neck with slashed vertical lines and tooled girdle. Helmet mouth with turned down and scalloped entwined with entwined petals and domed cover with bud finial. High-looping handle has shaggy flower-head mounts as do 4 volute scrolled block supports. A later version of a design that was first produced in 1880, the same year the Chrysanthemum pattern debuted. Holds 2 pints. Fully marked including maker's stamp, pattern no. 6177 and director's letter T (1892-1902).
