    Description

Rare passenger tariff document showing ticket costs from the mining town of Twin Buttes to Tucson with stops along the way.
Twin Buttes was founded as a small mining town about 1903 on the east flank of the Sierrita Mountains approximately twenty miles south of Tucson, in Pima County, Arizona Territory.
Named after a prominent hill located next to the town it was abandoned around 1930. Much of the actual town site is now buried underneath mine tailings, and all that remains is the Twin Buttes Cemetery.
8.5 inch by 7.5 inch document in good condition except for small tear on right edge, see the scan.
