    Vintage 1960 60s Transition Badge Ludwig 16” x 16 Floor Tom Drum - Brass Hoops
    I believe this is a re-wrap. Some sort of black gloss color. Brass hoops are great! 16” diameter x 16” deep drum shell. Transition badge. Natural mahog interior. Ink date stamp indicates Nov but I can’t tell the year. Based on a helpful eBayer suggesting the internal screws were probably 1960, I’m going with 1960. (Could be 1958?). Both heads need replacing. The bottom head looks original playon plastic head but it has a tear in it. WFL push buttons and straight floor tom legs. Looks like original tension rods / washers. 3 ply shell with re-ring. Seams are tight. Black wrap has some scratches but good condition (it shows every imperfection). Large classic lugs have light pitting. Nice original small knob tone control / muffler! No extra holes. Bearing edges look great. Heads slide on fine. It sits flat on my counter. I believe it’s been sitting for years unused - I simply wiped down with water. Definitely would look better if you polished it! Please refer to pictures which are considered a part of the description.
