Vintage 70's 10x15" Slingerland Rack Tom Black Diamond Pearl 3-Ply Maple shell. Serial # is 188863, indicating an early-to-mid 1970's date. Dimensions are 15" head diameter, 10" depth. The drum needs nothing, has new heads, is polished and ready to play out of the box, or it could be converted to a snare drum!
Excellent overall condition, complete original, period correct hardware with some new tension rods & tom mount set screw- fully functional, chrome is polished with little rust. Wrap is intact and tight w/ minor scuffs that are not easily visible w/ this pattern. It has darkened a bit in spots, but overall is shiny. Bearing edges are original, bottom edges are slightly rough- suspect drum was used as concert tom for a time without a rim. Evidence of wood fill at bottom outside of bearing edge, but actual edge is intact. Pictures tell the story, but if you need more info, please contact me.
