Vintage Handmade Dutch Boy & Girl Sand Bean Sack Dolls Porcelain Heads 1960's

here is a vintage pair of handmade original 5" x 3 1/2" x 2" porcelain head dolls with hand painted faces, bodies are stuffed and tightly packed with some kind of grainy sand / pebble mixture. clothing is all hand stitched. these are very small dolls and do not really sit on their own and would need to be propped up against something to display or left in natural state for play. the girl has long hair made of yarn and the boy's hair appears very real and made of animal hair possibly? not sure what it is but the hair is very realistic. circa 1950-1960's. the only blemish is a very light small brush mark on side of boys face. each doll weighs 5oz. please view all pics and read full item condition.
