Boy and girl, sister & brother, Harry and Ethel porcelain dolls made by artist & author Phyllis Gift Jellison in 1983 in a limited edition of 50. The back neck plate says PGJ "83", boy says Harry 4/50 and girl says Ethel 4/50. Phyllis designed and made the molds and destroyed them after 50 sets of dolls were made. She made the dolls and designed them after her husband Harry and his sister Ethel when they were young.The dolls measure 17" tall (Harry) and 19" tall (Ethel). The outfits are extremely well made by Phyllis and the dolls are in very good condition and were displayed in a smoke free, pet free home. Even though they were displayed behind glass the clothes could use a little washing from a little bit of dust ver the years. Comes with stands.
