    Description

    Here is a wonderful
    Wallace
sterling silver tea/coffee pot, sugar & creamer set. This elegant "Exemplar" pattern set, produced in the U.S. by the famed
    R. Wallace & Sons
company sometime after 1955 (pattern originally designed & produced by the
    Watson
    Co
, which was purchased by Wallace in 1955). The pot, sometimes described as for hot chocolate, is marked "F4" & is 1.5 pints & features a stylish wooden handle & ornate finial hinged top. It measures 9.5" high, 4.25" diameter. The sugar bowl (F4) is 2.25" high, 4" diameter. The creamer (F4) is 4" high, 2.25" diameter. All three items are in truly excellent condition with only one tiny (1/8") minor dent on the sugar bowl. All pieces have a lovely stylized etched monogram. The total weight of the set is approx. 31 ounces. This is a very special set of vintage sterling silver from one of the most highly regarded domestic silversmiths.
