Hello Friends!Today I am listing a very unique piece! This is a USA made Warmoth Soloist alder body (similar to Jackson and Charvel) that has a heavy/radically distressed black finish. It is very light weight (3lbs. 2oz. PRIOR to routing of the tremolo and pickup cavities), ideal for those (like me) with a bad back. It is routed for a SCHALLER Floyd Rose, which has a slightly smaller footprint/size than an Original Floyd Rose. (An actual Floyd Rose will not fit in the cavity, the saddle screws are too long). The black tremolo inserts are included. I prefer the Schaller Floyd Rose due to its warmer tone. The heel pocket fits 2-3/16" strat neck heels. This size is that of most American and Mexican strat necks. (Measure your neck heel!). The pickup routes and control cavity have been carefully painted with Stew Mac paint shielding for noise free performance.The body was purchased new by me, unpainted. It has gone through a few phases of appearances, and most recently received this "heavily distressed" finish that includes plenty of scratches, wear, burns, and torture! The intention was to make it look like a body that would be found in the basement of CBGB's! This is NOT your normal "dad's" classic relic...this is far beyond any of that, and it's not coming back. Imagine a guitar that has lived through the first 3 Metallica tours, was tossed a bazillion times into the back of a van and corner of the garage, and has had beer, blood and god knows what spilled on it during the first 500 shows! There is NO clear coat of any kind, she is raw and ready for you to add your own authentic scratches and stage war wounds to her. This is a raunchy, rock masterpiece! The front decal is removable, as is the piece of black duct tape, which is serving no purpose than to add to the reckless look. There is denim attached to the rear plastic control cavity, and black leather in the floor of the floyd rout to add to the bad ass denim and leather look!
