Whiting Hand Hammered Arts & Crafts Sterling Coffee Set Mellon Form Rare

Description

Estate fresh Bachelor's or Black coffee set from Whiting. The set is a happy assemblage of a coffee pot and a sugar bowl and creamer. The coffee pot is 8 inches tall and has wonderful hammering and eight hammered lobes. There isa  side wooden handle. The pot holds 1 1/2 pints and is dated for the year 1913. It weighs 391 grams including the wooden handle. The lid and hinge close perfectly. There are some small dents of fine scale on the piece but nothing to detract from the function or beauty!
The sugar bowl and creamer have a period monogram "M." The open sugar bowl is 2.5 inches high and 3.5 inches in diameter. It weighs 126 grams. The creamer is 3.5 inches high and 3.75 inches from the handle to the spout. It weighs 128 grams. The sugar bowl and creamer date to 1912. All three pieces sit on four rounded bun feet and sit level on the table.
