William Spratling Sterling Coffee Set 4 Pieces with all Silver Tray
Stunning hand wrought sterling silver mid-century modern coffee/espresso set by none other than the master of Mexican silver William Spratling.  I believe this is the Volteo pattern reference number 1525 for those of you with the correct reference material at home. This set includes the l
argest sized Volteo pattern coffee pot. This design was included in the 1965 traveling U.S. museum exhibit, "The World of William Spratling." This was made in two smaller sizes. A companion sugar and creamer are also included as well as the uncommon all silver tray. I have yet to see another with an all silver tray.  This is a vintage hand made set which hasn't been re-polished. I did see one thing worth noting, a small scratch by the coffee pot handle.  Please see photo for close-up. Please see the next to last photo below.
