Wonderful Sterling Silver Stieff Colonial Williamsburg Lighthouse Coffee Pot
Presented is a wonderful quality, sterling silver coffee, chocolate or tall tea pot made by Stieff for the Colonial Williamsburg. Stieff was commisioned by Colonial Williamsburg in 1940 to make reproductions of early American colonial flatware and tablewares. This is in the form of a classical lighthouse, Queen Anne style. This is a tall, heavy, solid sterling silver pot and the side handle is made of wood. The whole piece has been polished to a high finish and is in usable condition. The hinge of the lid works perfectly and the handle is tight to the body.
The underside is marked Stieff, sterling and has the symbol for the Colonial Williamsburg.
This piece is in excellent overall condition. There are no dents, no breaks, no splits, no monograms, no monogram removals and no repairs.
The pot measures 11 1/4 inches tall.
Weight: 1,089 grams or 38.4 ounces.
