Rare, nearly impossible-to-find, Yamaha Maple Custom Absolute
Nouveau
10" x 14" rack tom in piano black lacquer (I have two other drums, see below).
I have owned this drum for about 12 years, and it has seen very little use over that time, living mostly in a case in my smokeless home.  The drum looks great on stage, but it has blemishes.  On stage you can not see these imperfections.
I have done my best to photograph the drum as accurately as possible.  Some blems are surface scratches and may be able to be buffed out (yes I said it!), but I am not a skilled in doing anything like that so that is simply conjecture.  Other blems are deeper.
The baring edges are perfect.
The diecast hoops/lugs have some pitting, but again, the drum looks good on stage.
